VE Day Street Party marking 80th Anniversary

Welcome to the VE Day 80th Anniversary Street Party! Join us on Sat May 10, 2025 at Romford Market as we celebrate this historic milestone. Get ready for a day filled with live music, delicious food, and fun activities for the whole family. Let's come together to honor and remember those who served during World War II. Don't miss out on this special event!

On Saturday 10th May 12-3pm Romford BID will be hosting a street party in honour of the 80th anniversary of VE Day. The street party will be held within an exclusive VIP area in the historic market place outside the iconic Romford Shopping Hall.

You will be entertained by Miss Jones Trio who will sing songs from bygone days, Rik'N'Roll Entertainer will be performing magic tricks for the whole family to enjoy, free VE day themed face painting by the wonderful Jungle Hair and Beauty and games for you to enjoy.

This is an exclusive event for just 100 lucky guests. Adults will be served pie and mash or sausage and mash supplied by Bow Bells Cafe. Free Tea, coffee and soft drinks for the duration of the event. Children will have a fabulous lunch box prepared by Kiddiewinks soft play. This includes sandwich, biscuit, packed of crisps and a drink.

This event will take place "Whatever the Weather" don't panic we have a plan B just in case!
